Black and Red Velvet Burnout Dress

Our finale piece for AW24 and veritable Sexy Lady Dress. Made based on 30's dress patterns, this slinky dress is cut on the bias to hug the body, has a lovely low back. To keep it Cat O'Brien, the dress still features a gathered sleeve, that drapes over the arm due to the fabric. The dress has a raw hem to keep it from feeling too prim. This velvet burnout fabric is semi sheer, the black base fabric is similar to a chiffon and is sheer, the velvet rose motif is opaque. While it is a sheer dress, you can still feel quite covered.

Each item is made-to-order and manufactured by Cat in Brighton.
